Andres Bustillo is Full-Professor at the Computer Engineering Department of the University of Burgos (Spain). His research interests are focused on the application of machine learning techniques and extended reality interactive environments to industry, teaching and cultural heritage among others. His scientific work has resulted in authorship of over 50 publications.
Marcello Carrozzino is a researcher at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. He coordinates the Art, Culture and Education research group within the Institute of Mechanical Intelligence and teaches Virtual Environments at the University of Pisa in the Digital Humanities degree program.
He is also President and co-founder of VRMedia, a spin-off company of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna focused on Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions for remote collaboration in industrial and medical contexts.
Raffaele Casciaro is a Full Professor in the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Salento. His research spans traditional art history, with a particular focus on polychrome sculpture, artistic techniques, and the history and methodology of conservation and restoration. He is the author of more than 120 scholarly publications. In recent years, he has developed research on virtual restoration and on the experience and accessibility of art and cultural heritage through Augmented Reality (AR) and Extended Reality (XR).
